    ⭐Why I Love It:

    • Cooks in Under 10 Minutes - I love how FAST shrimp cook and this Firecracker Shrimp recipe is no different!
    • Only 7 Ingredients - You only need a handful of easy-to-find ingredients.
    • One Pan Only - The firecracker sauce is cooked in the same skillet as the shrimp making this an easy clean up!

    🥘Ingredients

Shrimp, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and green onions in glass prep bowls.
    • Sweet Chili Sauce - This is sold in a jar in the ethnic foods aisle near other Asian ingredients.
    • Lime Juice - Fresh is best for flavor, but you can use the kind in a bottle too.
    • Honey - For added sweetness to balance the spice.
    • Low Sodium Soy Sauce
    • Sriracha - This adds the spice! You can adjust the amount to suit your tastes. Also try this recipe for Honey Sriracha Salmon!
    • Raw Shrimp - Peeled and Deveined with Tails Removed
    • Cooking Oil - I like to use canola oil or avocado oil to cook up the shrimp.

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

    🍤Serving Suggestions

I like to pair the shrimp with other asian-inspired sides or veggies! Some favorite pairings are:

    • Blackstone Veggie Fried Rice
    • Kimchi Fried Rice
    • Air Fryer Green Beans
    • Roasted Broccolini
    • Or even just plain white rice!

    💭Recipe Tips

    • Leftovers - Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
    • Adjust Spice Level - The sriracha is the main ingredient that adds spice, so you can use more or less sriracha to suit your tastes.

    👩‍🍳Recipe FAQs

How do you tell when shrimp are cooked?

Shrimp are cooked when they are an opaque pink color (vs a translucent gray when raw) and are starting to curl into a 'C' shape. Be careful not to overcook shrimp or they become tough.
