⭐Why I Love It:
- Ready in Under 10 Minutes of Active Prep Time - Just melt it all in the microwave, allow to set in the pan, then cut and serve!
- Only 5 Ingredients - You only need a few simple ingredients!
- Made in the Microwave - While most fudge recipes require cooking the mixture on the stove to a certain temperature/consistency, this fudge is made entirely in the microwave!
- Perfect Treat for the Holidays - This is a great fudge recipe to serve around the holidays along with other sweet treats like Christmas Pretzels, 3-Ingredient Palmier Cookies, and Brown Butter Sugar Cookies.
🥘Ingredients
- Chocolate Chips - I used semisweet chips but you could also use dark! You can even use the same amount of chopped chocolate, instead of chips.
- Nutella (or other Hazelnut Chocolate Spread) - The double of dose of chocolate by adding Nutella makes the fudge extra rich. If you have extra Nutella, also try this Nutella Mug Cake or Nutella Puff Pastry Christmas Tree.
- Canned Sweetened Condensed Milk - You'll use one whole 14oz can.
- Butter - You can use salted or unsalted. It adds a little more richness and creamy texture to the fudge.
- Vanilla Extract - For flavor!

🔪Step by Step Instructions
This recipe for Microwave Nutella Fudge could not be any easier! Just toss the ingredients together, melt in the microwave, then chill in the fridge to set.
Photo 1 - Start by adding all of the ingredients (except the flaky salt) to a medium-large microwavable bowl.
Photo 2 - Stir everything together so it's combined.
Photo 3 - Microwave for 2-3 minutes in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Photo 4 - Add the fudge to a lined and greased baking dish, sprinkle with flaky salt (if using) and chill in the fridge for a few hours to set before cutting into squares and serving.
💭Recipe Tips
- Leftovers - I recommend storing the fudge in the fridge for up to two weeks (with layers of parchment or wax paper in between). At room temperature, the fudge squares will still hold their shape but they get softer and stickier, so I prefer to store in the fridge. Leftover fudge is a great add to a Cookie Charcuterie Board for the holidays!
- Line the pan - It's best to line the baking pan with parchment paper so you can easily lift out the fudge once set to cut into squares.
- Microwave in Intervals - It's best to stop and stir every 30 seconds to avoid the risk of burning the chocolate and since microwave strengths vary, the total time will vary.
👩🍳Recipe FAQs
Nope! While it is best to let I set up in the fridge, it can be stored at room temperature between layers. But be aware, Nutella microwave fudge does get a little softer/stickier when stored at room temperature so I prefer to store it in the fridge until serving.
