This Easy Ricotta Bake Appetizer takes only 5 ingredients, just 30 minutes to make, and will impress any guest! The creamy ricotta when baked gets puffed up and golden - it's paired perfectly with bread slices or crostini for dipping or spreading.

Ingredients

  • 16oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prep - Get the oven preheating to 400F and spray a 1.5-2qt baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Mix Dip - In a large bowl, stir together all of the ingredients until well combined, minus a tablespoon or two of parmesan cheese for the top.
  3. Transfer to Dish - Transfer the ricotta mixture to the baking dish and sprinkle with a little extra parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake - Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the ricotta has puffed up and is golden brown on top.
  5. Serve - Serve warm with bread or crostini.
