    ⭐Why I Love It:

    • Super Small Batch Fruit Dip Recipe - While I love making this full batch Cream Cheese Fruit Dip for a summer party, this single serve recipe is perfect when I'm not feeding a crowd.
    • Only 4 Ingredients - You only need 4 simple ingredients, cream cheese, vanilla, sugar, and heavy cream!
    • Perfect Summer Recipe- While I love fruit dip year-round, I love to pair this with seasonal summer produce like fresh berries.

    🥘Ingredients

Cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cream in glass prep bowls.
    • Cream Cheese - Make sure this is softened to room temperature.
    • Vanilla Extract - Adds flavor!
    • Sugar - A little sugar to sweeten the dip! You can swap in an alternative sweetener, as well.
    • Heavy Whipping Cream - Keep this cold in the fridge until ready to use because you'll whip it up with a hand mixer or whisk to make a whipped cream.

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

    🍓Variations

There are lots of easy ways to make a different flavor of single serve fruit dip!

    • Maraschino Cherry Juice - try mixing in a teaspoon or two to give the dip a pretty pink color and a subtle cherry taste.
    • Chocolate Fruit Dip - Try adding about a tablespoon of cocoa powder (adjust to your preference) cup of cocoa powder.
    • Lemon - Add ½-1 teaspoon lemon zest and about a teaspoon of lemon juice for a zesty spin.
    • Strawberry Fruit Dip - Mix in a couple teaspoons of strawberry jam to the cream cheese mixture before folding with the whipped cream.

    🍎Serving Ideas

Although fruit is the obvious choice for serving, that's not the only option! Here are my favorite things to serve with fruit dip:

    • Fruit - Berries, Sliced Apples, Grapes, Peaches, and more!
    • Graham Crackers
    • Animal Crackers
    • Vanilla Wafers
    • Pretzels
    • Cubed Pound Cake

    💭Recipe Tips

    • Room Temperature Cream Cheese - Make sure to let your cream cheese soften a bit so you an easily blend it together.
    • Keep Cream in the Fridge - Unlike the cream cheese, keep the cream in the fridge until ready to use so you can whip it into a whipped cream. A cold heavy cream is much easier to whip.
    • Prep Ahead Friendly- While you can eat the dip right after making, it also keeps well in the fridge for

    👩‍🍳Recipe FAQs

Why is my fruit dip lumpy?

The key to a smooth and creamy fruit dip is making sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature first. Let it sit out on the counter for at least 30 minutes before using.
