This Ninja Creami Strawberry Frozen Yogurt recipe uses only 5 simple ingredients, including fresh strawberries, and the results are thick, creamy, and slightly tangy like your favorite frozen yogurt. Ready to enjoy plain or with your favorite toppings!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh sliced strawberries, from 8-9 medium strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mash Strawberries - Add the sliced strawberries to the pint container and use something heavy to press them down, expelling some of the juice. I like to use a metal ladle or metal measuring cup. Smooshing the strawberries helps them mix with the other ingredients.
  2. Mix in the Other Ingredients - Mix in the yogurt, milk, sugar, and vanilla - until combined. The top should be level with no big chunks of strawberry sticking out.
  3. Freeze Pint - Place the pint in the freezer and freeze for 24 hours so it is fully solid. Make sure you place it on a level surface in your freezer.
  4. Blend - Insert into the outer bowl, add the lid, and lock into position. Blend on 'Lite Ice-Cream'. It will be crumbly.
  5. Re-Spin - Make a little well in the center, add the extra milk (if using), and re-spin. After the second spin, the frozen yogurt should be thick, creamy and ready to enjoy!
  6. Enjoy or Add Mix-Ins - You can have the frozen yogurt plain or at this point can add mix-ins!

Notes

Using Frozen Strawberries - Using Frozen Strawberries - You can use frozen strawberries for this recipe, but they need to be thawed first so you can still chop and smash them down in the pint container.
