Whipped Ricotta Dip with Honey is the perfect creamy appetizer. It is super easy to make and is ready in only 5 minutes. It's great served with bread slices, veggies, or crackers for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 15oz container whole milk ricotta, excess moisture drained
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 small lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients - Add all ingredients to either a medium bowl with a hand mixer or to a food processor. Beat or blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, honey, and lemon as needed.
  2. Serve - Transfer the ricotta dip to a serving bowl. I like to give a drizzle of olive oil on top.

Notes

Draining Ricotta - If you open up the ricotta container and there is a lot of liquid, you can drain that off so the dip isn't watered down.
