This Ninja Creami Peach Sorbet recipe uses only two ingredients and the results are thick, creamy, and has lots of peach flavor. The active prep time on this sorbet is just minutes! And, all you need is a can of peaches and a little half and half.
The Ninja Creami appliance lets you make ice-creams, sorbets, and soft serve with unconventional ingredients! With a traditional ice cream maker you add the ice cream base for a frozen canister that churns the ice cream while mixing.
But with a Ninja Creami, you freeze the entire base and then it chops and blends it up (similar to a blender, but gives a much creamier texture). Another favorite recipe is this Ninja Creami Protein Ice-Cream, Ninja Creami Wendy's Chocolate Frosty recipe, and Ninja Creami Soft Serve recipe.

⭐Why I Love It:
- Two-Ingredient Peach Sorbet - All you need is canned peaches and a little half and half. For another Ninja Creami Sorbet, try this Ninja Creami Dole Whip, Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet, or Ninja Creami Mixed Berry Sorbet!
- Refreshing for Summer - The combination of peaches and the frozen texture is so refreshing.
- Easy to Make - No need to blend up the peach mixture first, just dump it all in the container and freeze!
🥘Ingredients
- Canned Sliced Peaches in Juice - I like to use the can in the juice for the added sweetness since we're not adding any additional sugar.
- Half and Half - Only a small amount is needed to add a little more creamy flavor for the 'peaches and cream'.
- Optional Adds - Vanilla Extract and Salt - I like to add a little vanilla extract and a tiny pinch of salt to add flavor balance.
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
📖Variations
- Heavy Cream - If you want a richer peach ice-cream, you can use heavy cream instead of the half and half.
- Milk - If you want a lighter peach ice-cream, you can use whole milk or low fat milk instead of the half and half.
- Sweeter? - I like to have the sweetness come from the peaches, it is sweet but not super sweet. If you have a major sweet tooth, you can add a tablespoon of a sweetener like honey or sugar.
🔪Step by Step instructions
Making creamy peach sorbet in your Ninja Creami is easy and is one of the main recipes that makes people want to buy the appliance! Just add your ingredients to the container, freeze, and blend up!
- Mix Base in Pint Container - Add the ingredients to your base container. Make sure to press the peaches down so they are submerged and the top is level.
- Freeze - Place the pint in the freezer and freeze for 24 hours so it is fully solid. Make sure you place it on a level surface in your freezer.
- Prep for Blending - Remove the frozen pint from the freezer. If you have a 'peak' in the center, it's best to scrape most of it away with a spoon.
- Blend - Insert into the outer bowl, add the lid, and lock into position. Blend on 'Sorbet'
- Add Liquid and Re-Spin - Make a little well in the center, add the extra liquid, and re-spin on the same sorbet setting.
- Enjoy - After the second spin, your Ninja Creami Peach Sorbet should be thick, creamy and ready to enjoy!
🍽Leftovers and Storage
If you can't eat the entire pint in one sitting, you have two options for storing:
- Save for Re-Blending: Use a spoon to smooth out and level the top in the Ninja Creami pint container and put back in the freezer. Freezing with the level top will let you re-spin it in the Ninja Creami when you want to eat it again. This method will give you that same creamy texture.
- Store and Thaw Slightly Before Enjoying: If you want to free up your Ninja Creami pint container, you can transfer the leftover sorbet to another container and freeze. For this method, you won't be able to re-spin it but I find that letting it thaw on the container for a bit or zapping it in the microwave for just 5-10 seconds softens it and the texture is almost as good as the freshly spun ice cream.
💭Recipe Tips
- Powdery after the First Spin is Normal - It's normal and expected for the mixture to be crumbly after the first spin. The second spin (especially when you add a little more liquid) is when the magic happens!
- The Machine is Loud -If this is your first time using your Ninja Creami, be aware that it is loud when it is spinning. I find the noise level to be similar to a blender. Might not be the best option during nap time 🙂
👩🍳Recipe FAQs
You can add canned fruit right to the container (without blending up), but make sure the top is smooth.. You can blend the fruit on its own, or add other ingredients like a little half and half in this peach ice-cream recipe.
The instructions say to freeze your base for 24 hours before blending because it insures that it is frozen completely solid. The exact freeze time will vary based on your freezer - your base likely can be frozen completely solid in less time. The Ninja Creami will not work properly if it isn't completely frozen.
You can use real fruit in the Ninja Creami. If you want to swap in fresh peaches for the canned peaches in this recipe, then you'll need to add some fruit juice as well.

Linda says
Does not say what kind of juice for the peaches. Heavy syrup or light or pear juice?
Kathleen Hansen says
Hi Linda, I used canned peaches in juice (check out the ingredient photo for the exact kind I used). You could also use canned peaches in heavy syrup (I haven't tested this), but it likely will taste much sweeter.
Katie says
This recipe was great! I added the optional vanilla and pinch of salt. Great peach flavor without being overly sweet.
