⭐Why I Love It:
- Cooks in 5 Minutes - Get your Blackstone griddle preheated to HOT and then the steak bites cook up super fast. For another fast cooking Blackstone recipe, try these Blackstone Cajun Shrimp.
- Only 5 Ingredients - You only need a few ingredients to make super flavorful garlic butter steak bites.
- Brown Crust on the Steak Bites - The best part about using the Blackstone griddle to cook steak is you can get a nice brown, crust on the outside of the steak cubes that is much harder to do inside on the stove.
🥘Ingredients
- Butter - After the steak is cooked you'll toss it in the butter and minced garlic to add lots of flavor.
- Minced Garlic - A heaping spoonful of garlic is a must for flavor. You can use freshly minced garlic or the kind in a jar to keep it easy.
- Cubed Steak - I used a Top Sirloin steak, but you can also use Rib Eye or New York Strip.
- Fresh Parsley - This can easily be omitted but I think it adds nice color and freshness to finish the recipe.
- Canola Oil - Or other high heat oil that you use to grease your griddle.

🥩Serving Suggestions
This is a versatile protein option that can be paired with your favorite side dishes or veggies. Some of my go-to pairings are veggies and potatoes!
🔪Step by Step Instructions
Photo 1 - Preheat the Blackstone griddle over high heat and add a thin coat of oil (about a tablespoon). Add the cubed steaks in an even layer - leaving room in between the pieces.
Photo 2 - Cook the steak for 2 minutes (without touching them) so they develop a brown color then flip and cook for 2-3 more until browned on the sides - this is usually about Medium-Rare or Medium, but you can cook longer if you prefer more well done. Push the steak bites off to the side.
Photo 3 - Lower the heat to medium and add the butter then once almost melted, add the garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until the garlic is aromatic then toss in the steak.
Photo 4 - Turn off the heat and garnish with the chopped parsley.
💭Recipe Tips
- Leftovers - Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- Make on the stove Inside - If a rainy day ruined your Blackstone plans, this recipe can easily be in a large cast iron skillet over high heat. Or you can use your Air Fryer to make Air Fryer Steak Bites.
👩🍳Recipe FAQs
I recommend using a tender cut of steak that is marbled with fat for flavor. My favorite cut of steak to use is a Top Sirloin, but you can also use a Rib Eye or New York Strip.
If your steak bites are tough, it's likely because they're overcooked. Since the cubes of steak are so small, they cook fast! I find that as soon as the steak bites are browned on the sides, then they are a perfect Medium in the middle.

These ended up being perfectly cooked! Brown on the outside but a tender Medium on the inside.
