Air Fryer S'Mores give you the gooey, chocolatey favorite without messing with a campfire! It takes only 5 minutes to make perfect s'mores in the air fryer!

    Stack of air fryer s'mores.

S'mores are a summer favorite! Some other recipes on my summer bucket list are these no-bake cereal s'mores bars, cream cheese fruit dip, and grilled peach crisp.

    ⭐Why I love them:

    • Easy and Ready in 5 Minutes - Super fast and easy! Some other easy air fryer sweets are this Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake or Air Fryer Monkey Bread.
    • Summer Classic - Name a more classic Summer dessert!
    • No Fire Needed - A great option if the weather isn't cooperating or you don't have a fire pit.

    📖Variations

While you can't go wrong with the classic Hershey's chocolate and marshmallow combo, there are some creative swaps you can make! Here are a few ideas:

    • Nutella - Instead of adding a chocolate bar, you can spread a little Nutella on the top graham cracker. You can use the leftover Nutella to make this Nutella mug cake.
    • Reese's Cup - Try using Reese's cup instead of the Hershey's for a chocolate/peanut butter spin.
    • Other Chocolate Bar - While Hershey's Chocolate Bars are the classic choice (also because milk chocolate melts smoothly), you can swap in a different chocolate bar of choice.

    📖🔪Step by step instructions

Making s'mores indoors using your air fryer is such a great hack!

Photo 3- Turn off the air fryer and press the chocolate pieces on top of the toasted marshmallows. Put back in the air fryer, without turning on, and allow the residual heat to melt the chocolate (about 30 seconds is all).

    💭Recipe Tips

    • Cut the Marshmallow in Half and Stick onto the Graham Crackers - If you use place the marshmallows in the air fryer, the fan may suck them up and cause them to burn. Instead, you want to cut them in half and press the sticky side onto the graham cracker so it sticks. This will keep them in place when air frying.
    • Use the Warm Air Fryer to Melt the Chocolate - After toasting the marshmallows, top with the chocolate. Then I like to close the air fryer (without even turning it on again) and letting the residual heat melt the chocolate.

    👩‍🍳Recipe FAQs

Can aluminum foil go in the air fryer?

You can use foil in the air fryer! It's important to only use it when the food is heavy enough to hold it down (you don't want the fan to suck it up). But be aware that the aluminum foil will impede some of the air flow, so you might not get the same crispy results on the bottom of the food.

What is the best chocolate to use for s'mores?

The classic choice for s'mores is a Hershey's milk chocolate bar! But you can use pretty much any chocolate - milk, dark, or even a Reese's peanut butter cup.

Air Fryer S'Mores give you the gooey, chocolatey favorite without messing with a campfire! It takes only 5 minutes to make perfect s'mores in the air fryer!

    • Method: Air Fryer
    • Cuisine: American

    Ingredients

    • 4 graham cracker sheets, split in half
    • 4 marshmallows
    • 1 1.55oz Hershey's Chocolate Bar, split in quarters

    Instructions

    1. Add Marshmallow and Graham Cracker - Add the graham cracker halves to your air fryer basket. Cut the marshmallows in half and press the sticky side onto each graham cracker half (this is important so the marshmallows stay put). I recommend doing two marshmallow halves per graham cracker half.
    2. Air Fry - Air Fry at 400 degrees F for 4-5 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown, toasted, and puffy.
    3. Add Chocolate - Turn off the air fryer and press the chocolate pieces on top of the toasted marshmallows. Put back in the air fryer, without turning on, and allow the residual heat to melt the chocolate (about 30 seconds is all).
    4. Finish and Enjoy - Top with the other graham cracker halves and enjoy!
