You don't need a bonfire to make gooey, chocolatey s'mores. Make a batch of Air Fryer S'Mores to get that campfire feeling all year round. It takes only 5 minutes to make perfect s'mores!

How To Make S'Mores Indoors Using Your Air Fryer
Here's what you need:
- Add Marshmallow and Graham Cracker - Add the graham cracker halves to your air fryer basket. Cut the marshmallows in half and press the sticky side onto each graham cracker half (this is important so the marshmallows stay put). I recommend doing two marshmallow halves per graham cracker half.
- Air Fry - Air Fry at 400 degrees F for 4-5 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown, toasted, and puffy.
- Add Chocolate - Turn off the air fryer and press the chocolate pieces on top of the toasted marshmallows. Put back in the air fryer, without turning on, and allow the residual heat to melt the chocolate (about 30 seconds is all).
- Finish and Enjoy - Top with the other graham cracker halves and enjoy!
S'Mores Variations
While you can't go wrong with the classic Hershey's chocolate and marshmallow combo, there are some creative swaps you can make! Here are a few ideas:
- Nutella - Instead of adding a chocolate bar, you can spread a little Nutella on the top graham cracker
- Reese's Cup - Try using Reese's cup instead of the Hershey's for a chocolate/peanut butter spin.
- Other Chocolate Bar - While Hershey's Chocolate Bars are the classic choice (also because milk chocolate melts smoothly), you can swap in a different chocolate bar of choice.
Recipe Tips
Cut the Marshmallow in Half and Stick onto the Graham Crackers
If you use place the marshmallows in the air fryer, the fan may suck them up and cause them to burn. Instead, you want to cut them in half and press the sticky side onto the graham cracker so it sticks. This will keep them in place when air frying.
Use the Warm Air Fryer to Melt the Chocolate
After toasting the marshmallows, top with the chocolate. Then I like to close the air fryer (without even turning it on again) and letting the residual heat melt the chocolate.
Other Air Fryer Dessert Recipes
Using the air fryer to make dessert is the perfect solution when you don't want to heat up the oven! Use your favorite cookie dough (store-bought or homemade!) and make an Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake. Or grab a can of store-bought biscuits to make sticky and sweet Air Fryer Monkey Bread.
