⭐Why I Love It:
- Ready in Under 10 Minutes - Just whip together the goat cheese and cream cheese then layer in a dish along with the fig spread and top with pecans and fresh thyme.
- Only 5 Ingredients - You only need a few simple ingredients!
- Easy Party Appetizer - It's not only super easy to make, but it will be a hit at any party! Other fun snacks to bring are these Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels or Garlic Parmesan Pretzels.
🥘Ingredients
- Cream Cheese - Make sure it's softened to room temperature. Whipping the goat cheese with cream cheese not only gives it a creamier texture that is easier to dip and spread on crackers, but it also helps stretch the goat cheese so the appetizer is more affordable to make.
- Goat Cheese - Use plain goat cheese logs and make sure it's softened to room temperature. For another recipe with goat cheese try these Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates.
- Fig Spread or Jam - You'll use an entire 8oz jar. You can also swap in another flavor of fruit spread or jam.
- Finely Chopped Pecans - This adds some crunch to the dip! But it's easy to skip if there are nut allergies.
- Fresh Thyme - A sprinkle of fresh thyme leaves on top really elevates the dip.

- Prep in Advance - The dip can be assembled earlier the same day and stored in the fridge before serving. It's easier to dip the crackers once it has warmed up at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.

Goat Cheese and Fig Dip (5 Ingredient Appetizer)
This Goat Cheese and Fig Dip takes under 10 minutes to make and uses only 5 ingredients. It's a perfect appetizer to bring to any party that requires no cooking or baking!
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 0 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 10 servings
- Category: Appetizer
- Method: No Cook
- Cuisine: American
- Diet: Vegetarian
Ingredients
- 8oz plain goat cheese, softened to room temperature
- 4-8oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature. See note.
- 8oz fig spread or jam
- 2-3 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
- 1-2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Mix Cream Cheese and Goat Cheese - In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to mix together the cream cheese and goat cheese.
- Spread in Dish - Spread the mixture in a dish. You can use a small baking dish, serving dish, or even pie plate.
- Top with Fig Spread - Spread the fig jam across the goat cheese spread. It's easiest to do this if the fig spread is at room temperature or if you warm it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
- Top with Pecans and Thyme - Sprinkle the finely chopped pecans and thyme leaves on top.
- Serve - Serve immediately with crackers or it can be stored in the fridge for a few hours before serving. It's easiest to enjoy at room temperature, vs straight from the fridge.
Notes
Cream Cheese Amount - If you prefer a stronger goat cheese flavor, you can use just 4oz of cream cheese. I like to use the full 8oz of cream cheese because it stretches the goat cheese further and makes a larger appetizer to feed a crowd.
